„Es hat geklingelt”

German language courses have started at the Hungarian Defence Forces 25th Klapka György Infantry Brigade. The courses have been officially opened by Colonel Gábor Lőrincz on 2nd September.

Most of the participants of the intensive regional courses preparing for intermediate and advanced level German language exams serve in Tata, but students from Debrecen, the HDF 24th Bornemissza Gergely Reconnaissance Regiment and from Várpalota, the HDF Bakony Combat Training Center also participate.

German language knowledge is utmost important for the Klapka brigade, especially for the 11th Tank Battalion, the 101st Artillery Battalion and the 36th Anti-tank Missile Battalion as in the framework of the Zrínyi 2026 National Defence and Armed Forces Development Program the first German-made military equipments will arrive to Tata already next year, and the preparation and training for these equipments will partly take place in Germany.
